Privacy Policy — Tab Workspace Manager

Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how the Tab Workspace Manager Chrome Extension ("Extension"), developed by Nam Tri Tri, handles your data.

          Short version — Your tab URLs stay on your device and are never sent anywhere. The only data transmitted externally is your license key, sent to Gumroad solely to verify your Pro purchase. We never sell or share your data.

Tab URLs & Browsing Data

When you save a workspace, the Extension reads your open tab URLs and titles using Chrome's tabs API. This data is:

Stored exclusively on your local device via chrome.storage.local
Never transmitted to any server, including ours
Never used for analytics, advertising, or profiling
Deleted when you remove the workspace or uninstall the Extension

chrome:// and chrome-extension:// URLs are automatically excluded and never saved.

License Key & Pro Verification

When you enter a Pro license key, the Extension sends it to Gumroad's API (api.gumroad.com) to confirm the purchase.

Only your license key is transmitted — no tab URLs or browsing history
The verification result is cached locally for 24 hours
Gumroad's privacy policy governs their data: gumroad.com/privacy

Data Sharing & Sale

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your data with any third party, except for Gumroad license verification (Section 4).

The Extension has no advertising integrations, no analytics SDKs, and no tracking pixels.

Data Retention & Deletion

All data lives in chrome.storage.local on your device and is fully under your control:

Workspaces — delete individually in the Extension UI, or all at once on uninstall
License data — click "Remove license" in the Extension, or uninstall
Uninstalling the Extension clears all locally stored data automatically

Permissions Justification

`tabGroups`	Create a labelled, colour-coded Chrome tab group when a workspace is opened

Children's Privacy

This Extension is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any data from children.

Changes to This Policy

Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective" date above and, where appropriate, a notice in the Chrome Web Store listing.

URL Tab & Dữ Liệu Duyệt Web

Khi bạn lưu workspace, Tiện ích đọc URL và tiêu đề tab bằng API tabs của Chrome. Dữ liệu này:

Được lưu trữ hoàn toàn trên thiết bị cục bộ qua chrome.storage.local
Không bao giờ được truyền đến bất kỳ máy chủ nào
Không bao giờ dùng cho phân tích, quảng cáo hay lập hồ sơ
Bị xóa khi bạn xóa workspace hoặc gỡ cài đặt Tiện ích

Các URL chrome:// và chrome-extension:// tự động bị loại trừ.

Khóa Bản Quyền & Xác Minh Pro

Khi bạn nhập khóa bản quyền Pro, Tiện ích gửi nó đến API Gumroad (api.gumroad.com) để xác nhận giao dịch mua.

Chỉ có khóa bản quyền được truyền — không có URL tab hay lịch sử duyệt web
Kết quả xác minh được lưu vào bộ đệm cục bộ trong 24 giờ
Chính sách bảo mật Gumroad điều chỉnh dữ liệu của họ: gumroad.com/privacy

Chia Sẻ & Bán Dữ Liệu

Chúng tôi không bán, cho thuê, trao đổi hay chia sẻ dữ liệu của bạn với bất kỳ bên thứ ba nào, ngoại trừ xác minh bản quyền Gumroad (Mục 4).

Tiện ích không tích hợp quảng cáo, SDK phân tích hay pixel theo dõi.

Lưu Giữ & Xóa Dữ Liệu

Tất cả dữ liệu trong chrome.storage.local trên thiết bị của bạn và hoàn toàn thuộc quyền kiểm soát của bạn:

Workspace — xóa từng cái qua giao diện Tiện ích, hoặc toàn bộ khi gỡ cài đặt
Dữ liệu bản quyền — nhấn "Remove license" trong Tiện ích hoặc gỡ cài đặt
Gỡ cài đặt Tiện ích sẽ tự động xóa toàn bộ dữ liệu cục bộ

Lý Do Cấp Quyền

Quyền Riêng Tư Trẻ Em

Tiện ích không hướng đến trẻ em dưới 13 tuổi và không thu thập dữ liệu từ trẻ em.

Thay Đổi Chính Sách

Các thay đổi quan trọng sẽ được phản ánh bằng cách cập nhật ngày "Có hiệu lực" và thông báo qua danh sách Chrome Web Store.
